Your Login screen, reimagined

With the milestone release of SmartAgent v3.0, we saw this as the perfect opportunity to refresh the login screen, ensuring it reflects SmartAgent’s evolution and ambitious direction. Whilst it may seem like the login screen is a relatively insignificant screen in the user journey, every single one of our users—over 18,000 each month—see this screen, even if only for a moment. That brief glimpse is a key touchpoint representing our brand and values.

Evolving Product Direction

The app has progressed so much since the launch of SmartAgent v2.0, exactly 5 years ago at the time of writing, and our product strategy has also evolved in this time:

AI-powered assistance

AI has always been core to what we can offer with Amazon Connect, but with recent advancements in Generative AI we can achieve things we had only previously dreamed of. v3.0 brings new features such as Call & Email summarisation, but this is just the start of the journey.

Accessibility

We’re committed to making our apps accessible and usable for everyone—we have been externally audited to validate this commitment with compliance to the WCAG 2.2AA standard. We believe that agents should be empowered by the software they use, not limited by it.

Seamless collaboration

The additional tooling we build around the Amazon Connect platform and the integrations we build into SmartAgent allows your agents to operate more efficiently with the information they need to get the job done right, first time.

Cost efficiency

We aim to save you money using SmartAgent with our channel architecture, features like automated rules which can reduce Amazon Connect consumption, and increased operational efficiency through seamless integrations and reduced friction. Don’t forget SmartPCI to reduce your PCI compliance costs, and Live Video Assist which can save on engineer visits and speed up call resolution.

A Tagline For Today

Our tagline has changed from “Your contact centre, reimagined” to:

“Your contact centre, reimagined to empower you with AI”

This evolution points to our direction, but also our belief that AI should augment and elevate your agents’ skills—empowering them, not replacing them. It’s about giving your team smarter tools so they can focus on what they do best: empathetic customer connections.

Graphics That Tell Our Story

The graphic shows a series of connected dots in a circuit-board motif with some dots glowing bright in orange. This is a good representation of the sparks of innovation as the first wave of our AI-driven features are released, this being the start of a journey through the SmartAgent v3.X releases.

The graphic also shows a series of curves like audio waves which give a nod to Voice, whilst the oldest channel available, is still the primary channel for most of our customers. With the launch of v3.0 we are enhancing this channel with new functionality such as Call Summarisation and Live Video Assist.

Built With Love

In the bottom left corner of the login screen, you’ll see the current SmartAgent version number accompanied by a heart and the text “Made in Manchester” or “Made in London”, and more. This changes each time you use the app, highlighting our distributed team and growing European & international footprint as Gamma.

Together, these updates ensure that the very first thing you see when you open SmartAgent v3.0 is a reflection of our vision: innovative, accessible, and centred around people.
