Browser / Headset Access Issues
Can your browser access your Headset?
Once Hardware and Windows settings have been checked, we now need to ensure Chrome has all the correct settings
You can easily check the site settings and ensure Chrome has access to your Microphone
- Click the “lock” icon to the left of the address bar
- Ensure “Microphone” is set to Allow
Ensure Chrome is using the correct device and there are no sites added to the “Block” list:
- In the address bar go to chrome://settings/content/microphone
- Ensure the dropdown has the correct device set
- Check the site is within the “Allow” list
Ensure Chrome is enabled to playback sound:
- In the address bar go to chrome://settings/content/sound
- Ensure Allow sites to play sound is enabled
- Check no sites are muted, and add your URL as Allow
