Audio settings and Jabra Headset integration
You may be juggling a lot of different tasks and may not have your SmartAgent browser tab maximized or in view at all times. As well as onscreen notification of any calls being routed to you, you can also switch on a setting to play a ringing tone on a connected device.

If the toggle switch is red it is not turned on – if you toggle it to green you can then access the dropdown field and select a connected audio device.

The dropdown box will present a list of audio devices connected to your device – these may include laptop speakers or a headset / mobile phone earpiece etc.
Some devices may create duplicate responses, sometimes marked as “Default” these may not be correctly linked to a speaker and so you should test the selected device rings correctly. If you need to amend the connected device, you can select another from the list if the audio settings function is enabled.

Enabling this feature
This feature can be enabled by system admins by adding the “view Headset control settings” permission in Permissions for SmartAgent security profiles.
"Switching on" new Standard Features in Permissions
Enabling this feature provides support for users with WebHID-enabled Jabra headsets to use headset controls such as Mute and Answer Call buttons, and the Busy status light.
This can be found in the Audio Settings option and can be toggled on or off as required.
